Access2007: user accountabilty

Hi All,

despite reading numerous threads i am still unclear, so please excuse
the probable duplication...

I have an Access 2007 database and i am clear that ULS has been
removed but what i specifically want to know is;

Is there funcationality that will allows users to register with the
application, so that i can audit when and by whom records were
updated? i would also want to control access to certain ribbon
functions if possible.

Dev Ashish's Get Login Name API still works in 2007. That would be a starting
point for what you want to do.
