Access95 7.0 on XP - no memory - Jet35sp3 installed

Thomas Lundqvist

Hello

I just got a new laptop with XP and 1gb ram ...

During the installling of Access95 7.0 on XP - I am asked
137 times, if this is a legal installation...

.... then when I try to start access - it says theres is no
memory...

.... I seach the internet for several days and found the
jet35sp3 - that should fix the 1mb / 1gb ram
misunderstandig ...

.... but I still get the "No memory" message when starting
Access.

Info: I paid for the acccess1.1 - 10 years ago - and paid
for the upgrade to windows95 - including the toolkit -
spend 1000's of hours devolping a
accounting/receivables/budget system - and paid for the
windows2000 upgrade - and found out the 1000's of hours
spent, could not be upgraded - it should be rewriten...

Any help, ideas ... - would be nice.

Hello,
I've just seen your message, I hope you had responses, if not :
you have to convert into Access 97 ( I try with XP and it seems ever
thing is OK) then convert into Access 2K.

I'm looking for access95 because I have to convert an ACCESS 2.
application to ACCESS97 and I need to use ACCESS95 as step.

Best regards

Jean-Luc

Access 97 can convert Access 2.0 directly. There's no need for the
intermediary step.
