Accessing Answer Wizard and Index in Word Visual Basic Help

I'm just starting to learn VBA for Word 2002. When I tried to access
the Help function, I was able to access the Contents portion, but the
"Answer Wizard" and the "Index" tabs are useless. When I click on
them, those appear areas appear, but the mouse pointer becomes a
horizontally double sided arrow and I can not enter anything in the
text boxes.

Any suggestions?
