Accessing Calendar Causes Outlook to Stop Responding

I am using Outlook 2000 with all listed updates from the
MS website as of 1 Feb 2004. For no apparent reason,
anytime that I select the calendar function, the program
freezes and stops responding.

I would appreciate any help or suggestions on where to
seek help with this problem.
