Accessing clipart hangs office 2003

When opening an Office 2003 program and trying to insert clipart, computer
will often hang. Figured out that problem is most likely that Clip Organizer
is trying to access Web as "web collections" is checked under Search In (if
you take check out of "web collection" box before searching, it works fine).
I work for a large school district and we have 1000's of computers that do
this and usually many different users logon to same machine so there are
multiple profiles. We also restrict web access for certain logins and require
passwords using Websense for internet access. I tried to recreate default
user with web collection unchecked but it was checked again after logging
back in as a different user. I'm sure there is something in the registry
that will turn this off or on by default but I can't find it. Any help would
be appreciated. This is primarily a problem with Dell GX270s running XP Pro
and Office 2003.

We are experienceing exactly the same issue, we use websense integrated
with ISA2004.

im certain its ISA causing the issue, ive setup some loging in ISA, and
when a user clicks insert clipart an anon connection is established,
obviously this is then rejected as authentication is required.

did you ever have any feedback on your issue Dave?

ive noticed there is a service pack for ISA out now?, im not sure how
long this hase been availble, our servers arnt running it yet, are
yours?, maybe applying SP1 may resolve the issue...

Under internet explorer advanced settings, then HTTP 1.1, ensure bot
box's are ticked, and that users open IE once before usin
clipart.....
let me know if this works for you
