Hello all,
I have what I think is a simple problem but after much
effort find I'm unable to solve it. If anyone has some
useful suggestions I'd be grateful.
I create a view under Server. I use that view to view a
project under the Server Project menu. I log off. No
problems.
Any other server user logs on and looks at the same
project. They use a variety of different default server
views and have no problem. When they select the view I
created to view the project the project viewing area
shrinks to a small square and becomes unusable; this
happens regardless of their server permissions. It is
impossible to change the view they use and are perpetually
stuck in that state. If they navigate away and come back,
or log off and log back on, and come back to view the
project again my created view is auto selected for them
and they are once again stuff in that view.
I tried an experiment whereby I created a dummy server
user with the same (full admin) permissions as myself. I
log on as that dummy user on the same PC using the same
browser window I just logged off on, and look at the
project using the custom view. It shrinks right down to
that tiny square !
Each time someone uses the view I created there is an
event log error reported :
Component: PjBusObj
File: C:\Proj10
\WebClient\source\server\pjbusobj\PjTaskBusObj.cpp
Line: 2790
Error Number: 0x80004005
Description: Assert Detected. The error code was also
included.
I'm not too sure what the above error means. I'm hoping
that it's a simple file permissions problem but am unable
to locate where my custom created view is stored.
Thanks for any help anyone can provide.
