Accessing form from report

I typed the following code to access form frmSRMainMenu from the report in
the Report_NoData event:

MsgBox Forms!frmSRMainMenu!OptOutput

The message is: Can't find form frmSRMainMenu. I know the form exists and
it is spelled correctly. Any ideas ?

Is the form still open at the time?

At the time it was not, but it is now and is working.
