Accessing secure servers

Hello.

Every time I type my login name and password on a
website, i immediately get the message 'This page cannot
be displayed'. Ever since this has started happening, i
also cannot connect to other password-based applications
either, like kazaa or msn messenger. on messenger, i
simply get the message 'your password may have been
entered incorrectly'. please try again or click 'help
topics'.'
