Accessing Standard Rate through PDS

I am trying to access the standard rate field for a resource using PDS but
all I can find is a method that goes into the assignment to find the rate.
Can you not access the resource table directly and see their standard rate
assignment?

I don't think so out of the box, but you can write a PDS extension to do
this. See the SDK for details and visit msdn.microsoft.com for more help.
