accidentally closed notebook

Is there a way to retrieve an accidentally closed notebook and place it back
into ON?

Just open it ;-)
From the main menu "File | Open …"

I'm just figuring out OneNote. I thought I had lost the OneNote 2007 Guide.
It turns out you File/Open/Notebook, then open the FOLDER with the name of
the notebook you want. I was looking within the folder - and nothing was
there! Imagine my chagrin.
