'Account Name' in Outlook

Hi,

I have an intermitent connection problem with Microsoft
Outlook. I have ruled out server problems for various
reasons, so I am now exploring configuration problems.

What would be the correct entry for Account Name? I'm
using my username, but some online pages suggest that full
email address is required whereas others say only the
username is required. I've also seen an entry that looks
like this: username%domainname.com (ie the use of % in the
entry).

Can anyone tell me what is the correct type of entry
please? Thanks.

Most of the time it is just your username but some ISP's indeed want the
full SMTP address. You need to contact your ISP to make sure. The % is most
likely a typo.
