Account Names

Windows Xp. Office 2000. I have 3 email accounts in
Outlook. This weekend it changed the account names from
gmallow to 00000005 and the other two accounts in
respective numerical order. I can rename them, but as
soon as I reload Outlook it changes them back to 000...5,
000...6, 000....7. What happened?

I have always used Outlook but tried Outlook Express for
a few days last week then changed back to Outlook.

Another question....is there a way to block senders in
Outlook like in Express? Not talking about junk mail, I
do not want to be able to block it from coming through
again.

Do you have an AV that scans incoming mail? That is most often the problem
when your account settings are renamed.

Click Categorize, select the Junk Mail settings and follow the prompts to
add people to the Junk Senders list. This is a list of addresses from which
you do not want mail. You can also create a rule.
