Outlook 2000 SP3, 9.0.0.6627:
When I use manual archiving, it archives a few files and then tells me that it
can't go on because "Error while archiving the folder "Mailbox -
Hossfield,Paul". Some of the items could not be copied. They were either moved
or deleted, or access was denied." Outlook is running here on an MS Exchange
server. I can confirm that the files are not moved, missing, deleted, or read
only. What is going on? Network issue? Something I can set in Outlook locally?
(Hopefully the latter.) I often have to open the Archive folder manually, then
drag the things into it. (Is that "archiving?" Does Outlook compress them?) Even
then I often get the same message. The problem happens almost exclusively with
files that have attachments such as Office files, bitmaps, Solidworks models,
etc.
Thank You,
