You have to make sure that Acrobat is installed on your PC. In Word, go to
View > Toolbars > PDFMaker.

The Acrobat toolbar is placed automatically by the Acrobat add-in, when the
full version of Acrobat (ie not the reader) is installed, however when
installing Acrobat into a Word version that postdates Acrobat eg Word 2003
and Acrobat 5 or 6, the installation doesn't always get the startup folder
location correct. Ensure that the addin template is placed in the correct
Office startup folder (which for Word 2003 would be C:\Program
Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\STARTUP.
