acrobat files in a web

Can anybody help explain how to have a hyperlink execute
a pdf file that has been imported into my website. Office
suggest introducing an inline frame. All that you get
when you preview this in a browser is an empty box that
does not respond to the mouse.
I have a specific page which discusses a situation which
is explained in a pdf document. I want button which when
clicked will open the pdf document.
Any help would be appreciated

Import the PDF into your open FP web, and create a link to it in the same
way you would link to an HTML page.
If you have Acrobat Reader installed on your PC, the PDF will open in the
browser window when the link is clicked.
