Got the following information from Act. Did the update
for Act now need hotfix for word 2003:

Incorrect Version of Microsoft Word
If you have ACT! 6.0, but have a version of Microsoft
Word previous to Word 2000, you will need to upgrade
Microsoft Word to either the Word 2000 or Word 2002 (XP)
version or use the ACT! Word Processor instead. Earlier
versions of Word are not supported in ACT! 6.0.

If you are using ACT! 5.0/2000, Microsoft Word 97 (or
later) is Supported.

If you are using Microsoft Word 2003, you must have
installed the Hotfix for Word 2003 and have updated your
ACT! software to the 6.0.3 build. Microsoft Word 2003,
will only integrate with ACT! 6.0.3 after you have
installed the hotfix. Microsoft Word 2003 will not
function with earlier versions of ACT!.

Sorry, but what do you need help with? You need to download the correct
version of ACT! and the correct patches for Word. What's your question?

I did download the right version of ACT, My question now
is where do I get the correct patches from word?
I have today updated Office2003 critical update-kb828041
But still have a problem with act using word 2003 data
base.

Unless there is a hotfix for Word 2003 that you can only get by calling MS
Support, I am not aware of any other fixes than those available on the
Office Update site.

I'm having the same problem as Maco1993 - Need to fix it so I can use Word 2003 as my word processor in Act 6.0.3. Did you have any luck finding our what HOTFIX the help file is referring to? I too have searched the Office Online Help and found nothing about a hotfix for Word 2003. Can anyone help? Where do I find this "hotfix for Word 2003"???? Thanks in advance.

You should look to ACT! for a hotfix. It is not an Office problem.
