activate access

my access needs to be activated When ever i go to activate it it takes ages
to connect, then it comes up with an error message saying error in
connection, please try again in a few minutes. Does anyone know what this is
about and how it can be resolved so i can fully use access?

Sounds like it might be a firewall issue.
