Activate Office 2007 Home & Student with Enterprise product key

I have Office 2007 Home & Student installed on my laptop, activated with the
(60) days trial version.
Now I have purchased Office 2007 Enterprise.
When I use this product key I get an error message saying that the product
key is invalid.
What is going wrong?

You have to uninstall any trial version, together with any activation
assistant, then reboot prior to installing your paid for version
