Activating Office 2007 US version in Spain

Hi all,

I am to receive an Office 2007 Ultimate retail US version and before
installing it in my computer here in Spain, running Vista in Spanish, I have
some doubts I'd like someone to solve:

1) Is there any problem with my installing an US version on my Spanish
computer other than the application language?

2) Is there any way I can change the application language to Spanish?

3) I am to buy a new computer soon so, what should I do with Office if I
want to use it on my new computer? Is it enough to uninstall it from the old
one?

Thank you very much for you help!

If your Windows operating system is not the same native language
as the Office software, it is not going to install.

But I have Windows Vista Ultimate, and I can change the interface language!

Does the EULA or any other license specify this lack of compatibility?

Thanks for the fast respone.

Changing the Spanish UI to English is still not going to permit
a software application written in English to install. The EULA
does not discuss language compatibility...the package it came in does
as does the installation disc.

Both Windows and Office have to be the same default language. In other words you cannot change Windows to Spanish for a Spanish version of Office as you cannot change the Spanish Office to English to accommodate an Eng version of Windows.

Please ignore my earlier posts. After doing a little research, it turns
out that you can install an English version of Office 2007 on a PC
running a Spanish version of Windows Vista. However, you'll also
need to purchase an Office 2007 Language Pack in order to switch
to an Office Spanish UI.

Thanks, I was a little surprised you couldn't use different language
versions. I don't need to eBay my Office then! :)
