Activating Office 2007

Sorry guys another query about activation !

I Recently purchased a new computer , which had a trial version of Office
2007 installed ( the significance i've only just realised) . As a student, i
also got a student licence for Office Enterprise 2007 which i installed and
input the licence key when requested .

Now today my Word , Excel etc seem to be locked and I'm only able to view
items. I went onto the MS site and tried to activate the Student licence
again using the onsite suggestion , but when i got to the activation button
through using Word , excel nothing happens, no further screen. I also tried
using the activation wizard but it brings up WORD, but the edit functions
are locked and will not let me input the full activation code.

I've also attempted to delete the Opa12.dat file, as prescribed by the
Office site and deleted and re installed Office but to no avail .

So basically what next ? , how can i activate my Office suite when it opens
WORD ( which is in read only mode) when it asks for the activation code, or
what other ways can i get to activate my full suite, which will then unlock
Office on my computer ?

Did you uninstall the trial version of Office before
installing the licensed version?

No the Trial version of Office was still on the computer when i was locked
out . I only uninstalled (using the Office CD ) after, and then reinstalled
when the problem came to light.

That doesnt make it clear as to whether you uninstalled all versions of
Office including trial and any trial activation assisstant, cleared your
temp files & rebooted, prior to installing from the Office cd

I have the same issue. My laptop came installed with a trial version of
Office 2007 which i did not know until i had already purchased 2007 Office
and Home. I let the trial version expire and then attempted to load the
software. It did not work so I went and followed the microsoft instructions
which included deleting the old version and deleting the Opa12.dat file.
Neither of these worked as well as the system fails to recognize the product
key code. I've tried to log into the link listed below, but it effectively
does not let me without a valid product key. My product key is very much
valid, but it doesn't work. Please Help..this is Frustrating.
