What version of Office and what app are you in?
In Office 2003 there is a
Tools=>Options=>General
tab in Word, Excel and Powerpoint. In the 'General' tab is a
'Service Options' button.
You can also use Help=>Customer Feedback Options=>Online Content to turn on the Template Help (when available) selection for
templates you retrieve from
http://office.microsoft.com/templates

When downloading a template from Microsoft.com, an option is offered to
activate "template help". The instructions to do that direct you to
Tools/Options/General/Service OPtions/ Category pane/show template help. My
tools
choices does not include "Service Options". "How do I activate template
help"?>>
