Hi. I had Visio 2007 Pro installed on an XP machine. I uninstalled it
(there was no option to deactivate it) and then installed it onto a Vista
machine. Basically I cant activate it!! I have tried the internet
activation and it tells me the licences have run out. I have tried the
telephone and when asked "Is this product previously installed on another
PC?" and I say yes, then im asked to contact my Microsft Supplier Rep but the
only numbers i can find is the same number that I just called!! The supplier
where I purchased the product from (WStore) are no help either and can only
give me the same telephone number. Help!! How can i deactivate Visio in
order the free up the licence to install on another PC!!

There is really no way to deactivate your install of Visio on a computer. As
you know after it has been activated a certain number of times you need to
contact activation usually by phone and explain why you need to activate on
another computer. From what you have described it appears you have reached
your activation limit for your copy of Visio.

It looks like there is an update to this which involves Visio 2007, the SDK
and Visual Studio 2005.
