Active Directory mapped to Custom Enterprise Resource Field?

Is it possible to map a field in Active Directory (In my case, Employee ID)
to a custom field for enterprise resources in Project Server 2007? The
information is populated in Active Directory, and I'd like for it to be
displayed in my Enterprise Resource Pool in Project.

There is no automatic way of doing this, you would have to use the PSI. Note
that a resource field called External ID already exists, so you might want to
look at that instead.
