Active X controls

Michelle Fifer

I tried to download a calendar template, and got a message saying I didn't
have Active-X controls enabled. I followed Microsoft's instructions for
doing this, but had no success. Can anyone suggest a solution? THANKS!

Usually the ActiveX control is installed automatically.
http://office.microsoft.com/templates/axinstall.aspx?

Look in the Internet Explorer properties, programs tab, manage add-ons button.
In the "show" dialogue "Add-ons that have been used by Internet Explorer",
scroll down to Microsoft Office Template and Media Control, be certain it is
enabled.

Michelle,

We have also had difficulty with this and we followed all the suggestions.
Not very user friendly, IMHO. Cannot do the practice sessions because of
this and don't really have time to try to waste on trying to figure out why
it is not working. Just do not have the time!!

Did you check your firewall to make sure you are allowed. What are your security
settings?
