MSP 2003 SR3

We currently use this code on several machines and it works fine as it did
on my old machine. It will not work on my new machine, but works on another
new machine both set up by the same installer the same way. The versions of
MSP are the same. If I use the name of the project instead of ActiveProject
it will work. ActiveProject.name,Name nor ActiveProject, Name will work on
other machines. I have copied code from the machine it works on and also
recorded new macro with no success.

OrganizerMoveItem Type:=2, FileName:=â€Global.Mptâ€,
ToFileName:=ActiveProject, Name:=â€_F15â€

OrganizerMoveItem Type:=2, FileName:=â€Global.Mptâ€,
ToFileName:=ActiveProject.Name, Name:=â€_F15â€

Any ideas on why it doesn't work for me?

Hi,

Could be the setting in folder options, View: Hide Extensions for known file
types.
I never use the name property of a project because of this ambiguity, I
wrote a small function to extract the name (without the .mpp) from the full
name.
And anyway, in OrganizerMoveItem use activeproject.fullname rightaway

Yeah!!! Yes, it was the folder settings. It works great now. I liked your
idea of using activeproject.fullname to eliminate this happening. Thank you!
