ActiveSync Bug?

W

Wayne Kessler

Hi.

I experienced 2 major problems a few days apart using ActiveSync 3.8 with an
iPAQ and Windows Mobile 2003.

The first problem - ALL my future calendar was trashed. Every last
apointment and reminder from that day forward was gone. My notebook connects
to an Exchange 2003 Server, so it was really gone.

A few days later, ALL of my contacts vanished.

We don't do brick level backup on Exchange, so I am pretty much screwed.

What I would like to know is this - Did I hit a known bug? If so, is there a
work around?

I saw a few similar posts, and it seems there is a common thread; I did have
a partnership set up that got goofed up somehow and I had to set up a new
one. Other threads referred to multiple profiles...

Please help. I can't believe this is an isolated incident, and I really need
to be able to support this platform for our employees.

Thanks very much.
