The only way to do this is to create a SharePoint list containing the list
of tasks. Then users have to create their Activity Plans from the
SharePoint list. Hope this helps.

Is there any way to continually update and add tasks to that sharepoint list
and have the same activity plan keep getting updated? I am following along in
your book and a one-time process works great, but where this would be most
helpful for me would be to have that one Sharepoint list continue to get
items added to it, and for me to see the existing activity plan reflect the
new tasks.

There is no way to add a task to a SharePoint list and then have that task
automatically added in existing Activity plans created from that list.
Perhaps there might be a programmatic way to accomplish this. You might
repost this question in the microsoft.public.developer newsgroup and see if
our developer friends could assist you. Hope this helps.
