Happy New Year to the discussion group! We use MS Project
Professional/Server/PWA to track work and costs. We've tied our project plan
out to the hour and penny and had felt confident that the data is accurate.
However, when viewing the data in MS Project Professional's Resource Usage
view, it appears that the Actual Work column has somehow created additional
time on weekends while the Actual Work Protected has remained accurate. Our
time sheets are accurate as well. We can't explain why there is additional
time showing up on weekends in the actual work column.
Has anyone experienced this issue and if so, is there a way to keep Actual
Work and Actual Work Protected synched to ensure data accuracy? Is the
solution Synch to Protected Actuals? If so, can someone explain why the data
differs between actual work and actual work protected and it's relationship
to the timesheets?
Thank you.
