Actual work in timesheet view in Web Access

Hello!

Here's another newbie question about MS Project Server 2002. I set up
the Server ans MSProj Pro correctly. I use Web Access for resources to
report their completion opf the tasks assigned. When one logs into the
Web Access and clicks on Tasks, he can report the percent of completion
of his tasks and time remaining to complete.

However, when I click on a "Time shett view" instead of "Gantt chart", i
see another table showing "Actual work" for every week. In this table,
all columns are blank or "0h", even when Actual work in the left part of
the table is nonzero for a given task. The fields in this table are
grayed out so I can't enter values there. How to display correct values
in this table?

Thanks,
Michau.

to be able to use that view, u need to have the "method for reporting
progress on tasks" set to "Hours of work done per day or per week: Resources
report the hours worked on each task during each time period" set in web
access settings under the admin tab in PWA.

or, if the admin did not lock down this setting (allows project manager to
change the reporting method) then the project manager can use the "Track"
project guide to change the settings. to do so, from the Track proejct
guide, choose "Prepare to track the progress of your project", in the Step
2, choose "Use another method".
