Actual Work Protected in View Resource Assignments: How to display

I cannot see a way to add Actual Work Protected into the View Resource
Assignments - Timesheet view.

If i go to manage views, and select the assignment view, i can add Actual
Work Protected, but this then only shows up on the left hand pane as a Total
Column and not in the details in the right hand pane within the defined
managed period. Even though Actual Work Protected shows in the left hand pane
of the split window, there is no data present from the project schedules.

Is there a way to do this....?
Show Actual Work Protected rather than Actual Work OR along with Actual Work
in the Resources - View Resource Assignments - Timesheet Format view?

Since Portfolio Analyzer does not have task level information; i need to
come up with an alternative that shows Resource - Project - Task - Actual
Work Protected by Day

I know in theory that with managed periods, that Actual Work = Actual Work
Protected. However, if you have local resources and manually key in/update
Actual Work for a local resource, then Actual Work in Total will exceed
Actual Work Protected across all tasks and resources in that particular
project.
