I have some tasks when updated with actual work will add zeroes for actual
work in the future. For example: Task A is schedule to start 5/14 based on
predecessors and is scheduled for 5 hours (fixed work). However the work
actually starts on 5/8 and resource enters 2 hours in PWA. When the schedule
is updated from PWA, the actual work is accurately transferred and remaining
work is allocated to 5/14. However, between 5/8 and 5/14, the schedule show
0 hrs work (which is correct) and 0 hrs actual work (shouldn't not show any
numbers at all). If the PM tries to adjust, i.e., move the remaing work in,
project will now allow this to happen. I have checked the work settings
against others schedules any they are the same.
Any ides what may be causing this? Thanks for your help.
