Actual Work values in PA

I have a situation that shows the Actual work value in a Portfolio Analyzer
view that is exactly four times the value in the Task Usage View in the
Project Plan.

In the PA view I am viewing the Actual Work by assignment e.g Actual work
for an individuals assignment. But that same assignment in Task useage
shows the value being 4 times higher !!

The project has been published (inc assignments), there are no other copies
of the project in the DB and the OLAP cube has been run today.

HELP !

If you're having the same problem I am, it's caused by the
web tables accessed by PWA and the data tables accessed by
MS Project being out of synch. I've not been able to find
a solution to bring both sets of tables back in line yet..
let me know if you find anything out.

Gary:

Do you update all actual work through PWA, or is some data being entered in
Project directly. If you update actual work by statusing tasks through
Project directly, then you need to synchronize the actual work values in
Project with the values in PWA by republishing the tasks selecting the
checkbox to overwrite actual work in PWA.
