Actuals from an existing plan

My company is using MS Project 2003 and the original plans were started on
the desktop and have now been saved to the server and published. The problem
that my group is having is that the actual hours from the timesheets are not
updating correctly and it is changing the existing time in the plan. We do
not use local resources and we do not use managed time periods so does anyone
have an idea why this is happening?

If you mean that your hours are not matching exactly from the pre-imported
plans to the server version then maybe you have some differences between
your local calendars for the resources and the enterprise calendars on new
enterprise resources.
