AD Issues when changing password

Our IT group forces us to change password every 45 days. After i
change my password i can login to PWA and SharePoint but MS Project
and Outlook fail to login into
project Server with an error message indicating my credentials were
wrong.

If I go into Server Settings and Manage Users and Save my account it
will then work. What do i need to get my network people to do to make
this work automatically?

I don't know for sure, but could it be the security credential manager in XP,
which is caching the security details for PWA ! Try changing your password,
then clearing the passwords in SCM !

Are you using Kerberos Authentication. I seem to recall that Kerberos Auth
performs some form of security credential caching !
