AD Sync Error

We are running Project Server 2007. I am getting the following error when the
Active Directory sync runs:

A resource could not be updated during Project Server Active Directory
Synchronization. Error: CustomFieldRequiredValueNotProvided. Resource GUID:
b461a4e5-c37e-49ea-8359-3deec3e7a43a. Resource Name Alan Simon

We currently have 2 required resource fields. Both of them have values for
this resource. Has anyone seen this happen before are what have you done to
fix it? Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.

Re-enter the required CF for the resources and try and sync again.

Personally I do not use required CF's for resources because of the issue it
causes with AD Sync.

I am curious, how do you ensure that the RBS get entered for each resource
without making it required?

I was afraid that was was the answer. I did as you suggested and the error
still happened. Based on your comments I removed the required settings. Thank
you for your help.
