Hi Cutter,

What about checking not the UID, but the Resource Name - do you already see
the the resource name that it's failing on (assuming you can find it in the
error log)

After a lot of try and error, i found the resource.
Removed it from ad group and now it syncs.... wuhu

Cutter,

Can you tell me how you found the problem resource? I am having the same
exact issue on my server and can't figure out how to resolve it. In your
post you said you removed it from the AD group? Not the Sharepoint tables?
Any help will be greatly appreciated :)

The ULS log on "Verbose" Level for "Project Server Active Directory Sync"
category only told me the message i wrote on the initial post.
Setting also "Least critical event to report to the event log" to "Error"
for this category, raised an entry in the Windows Event Log which told me the
invalid resource name. Then i removed this resource from the AD Group and
everything was fine (I think you can also remove it from the tables, but this
is more effort).
