AD sync partially failled (Project Server 2003)

Hello,
On my Project Server 2003, the sync of resources with AD worked well once,
but now, while I added some users in the AD Group, I'm getting the error
message:
"Sync between AD group and Enterprise resource pool failed partially on
05/01/08.

In the Event Viewer of Win Server 2003 I got the error:
"Component PjQuery
File: C:\Office\devsp\project\Web Client\Source\server\piquery\PjGeneric
Querry.cpp
Line 418, Error # 0x8000fff
Assert Data Detected for Virtual Root 'Project Server'
The error code was also included".

Any ideas?

It might be a long shot but do any of the resources you recently added have
any special characters like square brackets in their display name in AD?

But all my resource names are standardized without any special character...
;-(
