add a water mark command

I wish there was a water mark command, allowing me to post the word "DRAFT"
on a draft copy for professional document.

It's not clear from your question what product you're talking about.
"Document" implies Word, and as far as I'm aware, Word does have the ability
to add a watermark. However, you'd be better off asking in a newsgroup
related to Word: this one's for questions about Access, the database product
that's part of Office Professional.

Or are you asking about Access?

The way I do it is to create a large light gray or outline text bitmap of
the word "DRAFT". I then lay it on the report first (layer 1) and place all
the other controls on top of it with Transparent backgrounds. You also need
to pre-size the detail section so it will print as a page.

Alternatively, you can output the data to Word and create the watermark, as
Doug suggested.
