Add an existing Project Server Worksite to Sharepoint

I noticed that if I publish a project, the resulting site is not available in
the quicklaunch under 'Sites'. If I click on the heading 'Sites' from the
quicklaunch, the Project site is listed.

Is it possible to add this to the quicklaunch? And if not, what can I do
(if anything) when I publish it to make it appear in the quicklaunch?

Sure, edit the quick launch bar under site settings.
