How do I add color to bullets? My text is black and I'd like to change the
color of the bullets.

Click at the end of the paragraph. Then press Shift-Right. An area of
blank space will be selected (this is actually the end-of-paragraph mark,
visible if you turn on showing of special characters). Set the formatting
of this and it will also change the formatting of the bullet to match.

press shift-right??? not sure how to do that. I pressed shift and right
arrow to highlight the space and then changed the color, but it didn't change
the bullet color??? What am I doing wrong?

What version of Publisher are you using? This just worked for me in
Publisher 2003.

Shift-Right is holding down Shift, and pressing the Right arrow key.

I'm using Publisher 2003. I pressed Shift-right arrow key and the end of the
bullet sentence and then went to- format - font and selected a blue color.
It didn't change the bullet but just changed the special character to blue.
Is there a setting I need to make before this can work? call me 484-321-5433.

No.
I followed the following procedure:
- Start Publisher
- Create a new blank document
- Create an empty text box
- Type the following (without the quotes)
"ABC" <return> "A" <return> "B" <return> "C" <return> "ABC"
- Select the three middle lines, click the Bullet button on the toolbar.
- Click on the right-hand-side of the A.
- Click the drop-down arrow next to the Font Color button on the toolbar.
- Select a colour from the drop-down list.

Can you follow that procedure to the letter and see whether it works on your
machine?

Also, do you have SP2 for Office 2003?
call me 484-321-5433.

I'd rather not. I'm in the UK, and only have access to a mobile phone. It
would cost me more than I can afford. Newsgroup support is free.

Easy way, turn on the Special characters, ¶ Highlight the ¶ at the end on the
bulleted line, select the color. Not all fonts will work, only the good ones.
