Add completely blank slides

Hi

I have created a "blank presentation" design template where the first slide
is totally blank, but when I add another slide, either by clicking on the
..New Slide"
icon or going to Insert/New Slide, the new slide contains
two text boxes and the words "click to add title" and
"Click to add text".
Is there some way of getting the new slide to appear totally blank?

There is a free add-in 'Set default layout' available on my web site
http://www.mvps.org/skp/download.htm which will do this job.
