Add data to list on fly

I was wondering if there is a way to add a new entry to a list in a drop
down box if it is not in the list when you type it. The list is in the row
source control for the box.

I would also like to know what the best teaching book is for access......

You need to set the combobox's LimitToYes property to True (Yes), and add
code to its NotInList event.
