Hi Steve,
Obviously it's not a feature I use at all (it is in Excel 2000).
After I brought up an Excel file, I got nothing, but a spike in CPU time.
I certainly have favorites in Internet Explorer. But I don't get a dropdown
Tried again and each time it did come up after like 1/2 minute of high CPU
time -- just not suitable for Excel on an older system (128MB RAM, 600MHZ),
A security patch 2 or 3 months ago has literally destroyed decent use of
Internet Explorer for me -- I can't work with a defective FIND function.
Tomorrow is Patch Tuesdays (Microsoft Security Updates) to help you
fix or break things. It is also the proposed release of Firefox 1.0
which followed Preview Release, and Release Candidate -- 1.0PR, 1.0rc)

David,
In Excel or Word 2003, if you go into View, Toolbars, then check off Web,
you get the web toolbar. In it, choose Favorites. click on this. Then
there is a choice for Add to Favorites. right now, in Excel, this is nopt
greyed out but in Word it is greyed out. Your link below did not work
Thanks
Steve

Hi Steve,
Perhaps Internet Explorer has to be your default browser.
I wasn't able to create the toolbar though I see it in customization.
Take a look at
