Add-In Installation

I'm learning how to use access on my own so this might sound ignorant to some
people. I don't have a book to reference.
I tried to add a new Add-In using the Add-In manager. I got an error
message saying "There was an Error adding to the registry." Can anyone tell
me what registry this might be and where I can find it? Maybe I can figure
out what the error was if I can figure out what registry file to look at.
By the way, I did not create this Add-In. Got it off the internet.

I've seen this error before if you are using a Windows NT-based
operating system and do not have sufficient permissions to install
Add-Ins. Have your Network Administrator install the add-in for
you or install the add-in under a profile with sufficient privileges.

Thanks. I thought it might be something like that. The IT dept. doesn't
like me very much. I suppose I will have to make them brownies or something
so that they will install this for me.

Yeah, fresh brownies may do the trick.
