Yes, there are news groups for Office 2007 beta testers but you are not one
of them. You are a beta USER, a quite different creature than an official
beta tester.
Have you tried using the Office Diagnostics option to repair this issue? It
really should show up under Trust Center->Add-ins->COM addins.
