Add New Calendar Event by Double-Clicking on a Date

Double-clicking on a date does not create a new calendar event. I remember a
setting somewhere that I can use to enable that effect.

What does happen when you double click on the Day in the calendar? Do
you have the Month view set?

its not a setting - it should just work. What happens when you double
click on a date?
