Add new columns

Hi,

I added flag1 column to timesheet view. I want my resource to change the value to Yes if the task is completed ahead of the schedule as i am hiding the 'Remaining Work" column. So i want them to indicate the completion of the task by inserting a flag value so that i can later filter the task which are early completed & change the Remaining work accordingly.

Can anyone suggest me to make the additional columns as editable.

In the Enterprise Global, under Tools / Customize / Published Fields, highlight your published flag1 field in the "Fields in the tasks View:" list box, is the "Let resource change field" check box checked?
