I somewhat understand what you are saying...
The table I am working with has 2 fields, 1 is the primary key ("ctrlno"),
and the
other is "make". The name of the table is "tblMakes".
How would you apply what you said using the above info?
Can you pls give me an example of some code with an event triggered by the
user clicking on the <add new>... preferably something simple like a docmd.
In what event would the code reside to intercept the user's selection of the
<Add New>?
