add OLAP dimension

Is anyone out there capable of adding a dimension to the OLAP cube?
Specifically, I need to see work data by project, then task name, then
resource.

Task name does not show up in the pivot table list and I would *pay* to have
it show up :).

Additionally, I would like to discuss the feasibility of getting custom
fields timephased, in any view (e.g., revenue, which I have built as a
custom field based on *task* rates (billing rate), whereas cost is based on
resource rates (salaries + OH))?

Hi Jesse,

Out of the box, the OLAP cube only allows for project
level data - meaning you cannot get at task level data in
the Portfolio Analyzer. It is possible to extend the OLAP
cube to include task level detail - take a look at MSDN
and TechNet for related articles. It will take some
custome coding to get done.

I have been off this effort for a couple weeks but now am back on it and am
eager to try your stuff Hugues for adding weeks and talk to you Kelvin about
task name.
