Add or Edit Category (PS2007)

I have two categories associated with PM role. One that allows PM's to view
all projects on the server, but not change them. Other that allow PM's to
change projects that they own.

At the end of "Add or Edit Category's" page there is a list of views I can
add to categories. I believe that if PM has two or more categories, the views
that are chosen in each are cumulative. Is this right? If so, how can a PM
have access some views in projects he owns and deny him some views in
projects they don't own. I believe that if a give him a view in one category,
PM will access that view always, regardless of others PM's categorys have it
or not.
